Paso Robles event showcases Cabernet Franc with tastings, seminars

– Cab Franc Masters 2025 will take place on Sunday, March 16, at the Cass Event Center, bringing together winemakers, industry leaders, and wine enthusiasts for a one-day celebration of Cabernet Franc. The event highlights Paso Robles’ role in producing the varietal and will feature tastings, food pairings, and discussions with industry experts.
The day will begin at 10 a.m. with the World of Franc Seminar, a guided tasting of international Cabernet Francs led by wine educator Wes Hagen. The seminar will feature wines from the Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Bolgheri, Argentina, and Santa Barbara.
At 11:45 a.m., the Versatile Franc Pairing Seminar will explore the varietal’s culinary applications, with insights from sommelier Jason Santos and chef Charlie Paladin Wayne.
The Grand Tasting and Pairing Experience will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering samples of more than 20 Paso Robles Cabernet Francs, paired with gourmet food inspired by regions known for producing the varietal.
Tickets for the full event, including all seminars and tastings, are available for $185. Tickets for the grand tasting only are available for $115.
