Paso Robles Farmers Market moved to Tuesday mornings
–The Paso Robles Farmers’ Market moved from Tuesday afternoons to Tuesday mornings. From now on the weekly event will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday morning on 11th Street and Spring, between the Downtown City Park and the Paso Robles Library. Same location, but it will take place in the morning hours.
“Turnout was good,” said Farmers’ Market Coordinator Robin Gable. “We saw a lot of new faces. People walking their dogs saw us and returned to buy vegetables. It was cooler and better for shoppers and growers. We had more vendors, too.”
One of the new vendors is Cal Coast Orchids of Los Osos. They sold cut orchid flowers on the stem and live orchid plants. Their prices are quite reasonable, because they grow then themselves in a Los Osos greenhouse.
Robin Gable said she expects the number of vendors to grow in the coming weeks at the Tuesday morning Farmers’ Market in downtown Paso Robles.
