    – The 13th annual Garagiste Wine Festival will be held Nov. 8 and 9 in Paso Robles, featuring over 50 micro-production wineries and a special seminar highlighting Paso wine pioneer Gary Eberle. Tickets are available now at https://www.my805tix.com/e/13th-annual-paso-garagiste-wine-festival-2.

“We love our Paso Robles festival, where it all began in 2011; and it is especially fitting that, for our 13th anniversary, we are recognizing Gary Eberle, without whom this area would not have such a rich and renowned winemaking scene. It is no exaggeration to say that, in every one of the wines poured at our Paso festivals – including many Cabs, there is a little bit of Gary,” said Garagiste Festival Co-founder Douglas Minnick.

The event will kick off on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pavilion on the Lake in Atascadero with the Rare & Reserve “No Repeats” Tasting. This tasting will offer a chance to sample barrel samples and reserve wines from 30 winemakers, along with a French-inspired dinner catered by Steins BBQ & Catering.

Saturday, Nov. 9 will begin at 11:30 a.m. for VIP ticket holders with the seminar “1500 Cases & a Plan(e): The Gary Eberle Story,” moderated by Garagiste Festival Co-founder Stewart McLennan. Eberle will discuss his journey from discovering food and wine in New Orleans in the late 1960s to starting his winery in 1979 with just 1,500 cases. The seminar is only available to advance purchasers of VIP All-Day and Weekend Passes.

The Grand Tasting will follow at 2 p.m. (1 p.m. for early access ticket holders) with over 50 winemakers, a silent auction benefiting The Garagiste Scholarship, and complimentary cheese and charcuterie curated by Vivant Cheese. The day will conclude with the Keep It Rockin’ After Party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., featuring live music from Five Parts the Devil and local brews. All Saturday events will take place at the Paso Robles Event Center.

Sunday, Nov. 10 will feature the return of Garagiste Passport Day, with special events and deals at festival tasting rooms available only to festival attendees.

Wineries making their first appearance at the festival include Arbuckle Ridge, Creek Cut Wines, Cutbow Wines, Loom Wines, Slouch Hat Wines, and Tribeca Wine Co. Other participants include Absolution Cellars, Bella Luna Estate, Boutz Cellars, Buckaloose Wines, Bushong Vintage Company, Cairjn Wine Cellars, Ciento Cellars, Concur Wines, Deno Wine, Diablo Paso, and many more.

Since its inception in 2011, proceeds from the Garagiste Wine Festivals have supported the Garagiste Festival Scholarship fund at the California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo Wine and Viticulture Department.
