Coach’s comment: Ocean League Finals took place on Monday, May 1 PRGC. The Bearcats shot a team score of 423 to win League Finals and advance to compete in the CIF Division II Championships on Tuesday, May 9 at Valley Oaks Golf Course in Visalia. PRHS was led by Mark Boatman. Mark shot a personal best even par 70 and won the tournament by 7 strokes. I am extremely proud of Mark. In the 9 years that I have been coaching boys’ golf at PRHS that is the lowest competitive score posted by any Bearcat. In addition, Mark earned the honor of League MVP by averaging a score of 79 over the course of the season. – Golf Coach Kevin Leclair
