Comment: Ashlyn improved her game by 8 strokes from the previous week. She continues to work hard at practice and wants to improve. Comment: Junior Brian Arndt had an exceptional showing this weekend at the Morro Bay Cross Country Invitational. Over 600 boys ran the same course and Brian continued his strong performances, finishing 3rd in 14:52, which was also the third best overall time of the day. Last weekend he finished second overall in the Arroyo Grande Big Ditch Invitational. Brian continues to be a team leader working with younger athletes to get them motivated and steps up at practice to work on fitness with the team. Brian is also involved in programs such as Crimson Newsmagazine and other clubs as well as maintaining an excellent academic record. Comment: Sophomore Braeden Putman had a lot of success this weekend at the Morro Bay Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 14th. Braedon placed 38th out of 158th during his first year running cross country. With 2 successful back-to-back weekends he continues to work hard at practice to continue to be a leader on the Junior Varsity team.
