Bearcats: Varsity Boys Cross Country Team
Comment: Paso Robles High School Cross Country would like to nominate our varsity boys team. Running in the Mountain League Varsity boys championship, the Bearcats finished second as a team to San Luis Obispo. Senior Tyler Daillak dominated the race, his teammate, junior Brian Arndt earned a strong second-place finish. It was another great finish for the two best runners in all of the CCAA. By finishing seventh, sophomore Luke Kleinman joined Tyler (league MVP) and Brian on First Team All-League. Sophomores Joseph Arce, 28th, and Alexander Gonzalez, 30th, rounded out the scoring for the Bearcats as well as support from Miles Hollen and Braeden Putman. Comment: Alex Tashma is one of our top singles players this season. She is dedicated and determined on and off the court. She improved her game all season and grew into a highly competitive player. Alex placed 3rd in league finals and earned all-league 2nd team honors. She also qualified for the area tournament held today with the top players from Mountain, Sunset, and the Ocean League.
