Traffic improvements underway at Nickerson and Creston
– Construction of a new concrete cross gutter at the intersection of Nickerson Drive and Creston Road is moving forward on schedule, according to city officials.
Work began with the placement of forms on Dec. 26. Concrete pouring is planned for Dec. 30 and 31, with the project expected to be completed by Jan. 3.
Once completed, the cross gutter will improve traffic flow in the area and reduce the need for detours through the Bolen Drive neighborhood, benefiting both residents and commuters.
City officials thanked the community for their patience during the construction process, which is part of ongoing efforts to enhance local roadways.
