Paso Robles invites public to review Niblick Road plans
City to showcase final Niblick Road design concepts
– The City of Paso Robles will hold a community open house on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the city council chambers to present the final design concepts for the Niblick Road Corridor Improvement Project.
The event is open to all Paso Robles community members. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the final concept plans, discuss project details with city staff, and provide final input on the project, which aims to improve safety, accessibility, and aesthetics along the corridor.
The project, supported by a $17 million Active Transportation Program grant, has been developed through a community-driven process that began in 2018. It included public input sessions, a design charrette, and field observations by Paso Robles High School students and corridor users.
Planned improvements include bike and pedestrian pathways, traffic calming measures, landscaping elements, enhanced lighting, and a raised multi-use path to separate pedestrian and bike traffic from vehicle lanes.
