Paso Robles is ‘California’s Next Great Wine Destination’ says National Geographic
–The Central Coast is California’s next great wine destination, according to a recent profile by National Geographic.
“Paso Robles, on the Central Coast, is creating a booming booze scene attracting 1.4 million visitors each year,” writes Danielle Bernabe, “Gastronomic trailblazers are turning the scenic town into a laid-back alternative for alfresco wine tastings, gin sipping, and craft beer flights.”
The article goes on to profile some local wineries such as Kukkula and AmByth Estates, recommends Margarita Adventures for “agritourism activities,” and suggests some places for prospective visitors to stay, including Allegretto Vineyard Resort, The Piccolo and Alta Colina.
