    Paso Robles kids take stage in "Mary Poppins Jr." show

    Musical adaptation will feature 30 performers from the ACT Advanced Performers group

    – Applause Children’s Theater (ACT) will bring its production of “Mary Poppins Jr.” to Paso Robles in mid-November. The musical adaptation will feature 30 performers from the ACT Advanced Performers group and will be held at the Christian Life Center, located at 1744 Oak St.

    The cast stars Kaia Cross as Mary Poppins and Ziggy Daugherty as Bert. Directed by Vikky Mullin and Casey Biggs, the production includes well-known characters such as Mary, Bert, Jane, and Michael, and promises dance numbers and scenes from the original story.

    “Mary Poppins Jr.” will run on the following dates:

    • Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
    • Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
    • Children 3 and under may attend free of charge when seated on a lap.

    ACT is a nonprofit organization focused on inspiring youth through theater. It offers young performers opportunities to gain skills in confidence, creativity, and performance, helping to build friendships and community connections.
