Paso Robles Library hosting world crafts program
—Following this year’s Summer Reading Program theme of Reading Takes You Everywhere, the Children’s Library is hosting a weekly craft inspired by countries from around the world. “Each week, we will travel to a different country and explore a new culture through crafting,” says Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey. “From Japanese block printing to Italian paper quilling, children will see the world through traditional art forms.” Craft days are at 4 p.m. on:
- July 3, 10, and 31
- August 7
The program is free, but tickets are required. They are available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the program. Space is limited to the first 30 children 7-12 years of age.
