Latin Grammy gala honors Carlos Vives
– Abel Campoverde, originally from Paso Robles, California, attended the 2024 Latin Recording Academy’s “Person of the Year” Gala Dinner on Nov. 13 in Miami Florida. The event honored Colombian singer Carlos Vives for his musical achievements.
Campoverde, who works as a personal assistant to Rocio La Dama De La Cumbia, had the opportunity to socialize with friends, colleagues, business leaders, and several Latin music artists during the event.
Campoverde, who is also involved in publicity and advertising for various groups, expressed his excitement about attending the prestigious event for the third time. “Being present at the gala dinner was an honor and a dream come true,” he said. “It is something I look forward to attending every year.”
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Campoverde has a background in education. He reflected on the challenges he has faced throughout his career. “There are times when doors have been closed for me, but I have always found ways to open new ones,” he said. “With time, effort, and dedication, everything can be achieved.”
