Paso Robles Olive Festival returns May 5 

–The 15th Annual Paso Robles Olive Festival, a Paso Robles Main Street Association event, will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Paso Robles Downtown City Park (Free Admission and fee for wine and beer tasting only). There will be a Pre-Olive Festival Social Mixer and Awards Night on Friday, May 4, 2018, held at Allegretto Vineyard by Ayres, 2700 Buena Vista Drive, Paso Robles from 6 to 8 pm ($25 per ticket, call (805) 238-4103). And, to make the weekend complete, there will be specific events at some of the local olive growing farms and tasting rooms.

The Olive Festival features Olive Oil and Olive vendors both locally and outside our county featuring their products along with free olive oil tasting. Local wineries will feature tastings and a commemorative wine glass for a fee. There will be an olive-inspired cooking contest. The public is welcome to enter the cooking contest.

There will be music and free olive oil ice cream. Enjoy arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities, and much more.

“Over the last 14 years, the popularity of this event has proved that people want to learn more about the health benefits and culinary creativity of olives and olive oil, and that a festival makes it fun for the whole family,” said Norma Moye, Executive Director of the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association’s Olive Festival committee. “Paso Olives You.”
