Paso Robles Planning Commission volunteers wanted
Appointments will be for three-year terms expiring Feb. 29, 2020
–The City of Paso Robles is now accepting applications for appointment to the Paso Robles Planning Commission. Appointments will be for three-year terms expiring Feb. 29, 2020. Commissioners can expect to dedicate 15 – 20 hours each month to meetings, subcommittee meetings and meeting preparation.
The commission consists of seven members and they shall be either qualified electors or have a vested interest in the city.
The commission meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Center. Subcommittee meetings are scheduled at the convenience of the commission members.
The commission prepares recommendations to the City Council regarding the City General Plan and Zoning Ordinance. The commission also performs duties related to environmental review (CEQA) and the approval/denial of development applications including conditional use permits, development plans and tentative maps.
Applicants are advised that all commissioners are required to file annual Statements of Economic Interests (financial disclosure statements) and, under certain circumstances, there are restrictions on the actions of planning commissioners.

Applications are due on Friday, Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. at Paso Robles City Hall, 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
