—Officer Tyler Pierce was sworn in on Apr. 2, 2018, as the newest police officer at the Paso Robles Police Department by city manager Tom Frutchey. Officer Pierce had previously worked for the Salinas Police Department and Monterey County Sheriff’s Department after his 2016 graduation from the South Bay Regional Police Academy.

“At a young age, Officer Pierce knew in his heart that he wanted to work in law enforcement and follow in his father’s footsteps,” according to volume 68 of the City of Paso Robles Newsletter.

Officer Pierce was born in Vallejo, is a graduate of Paso Robles High School, and is back with his family serving on the Central Coast.
