Update: Paso Robles police arrest man in armed robbery case

– The Paso Robles Police Department has released new information about an armed robbery that occurred May 25, including the arrest of a 22-year-old Madera man in connection with the incident.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of AMPM at 195 Niblick Road. Police said a 19-year-old male had been followed to the location and ambushed as he prepared to leave. The suspect, armed with a handgun, assaulted and robbed the victim while he was seated inside his vehicle. During the struggle, the firearm discharged inside the vehicle, but no one was struck. The suspect then fled in a white Ford pickup.
Detectives from the Paso Robles police special enforcement team responded and determined the incident was a targeted attack. Investigators tracked the suspect’s vehicle to Madera.
With assistance from the Madera County sheriff’s special weapons and tactics team, detectives executed a search warrant during the early morning hours of May 26 at a residence in the 20700 block of Brightwood Road in Madera. There, they arrested Isaac Adrian Ramirez, 22, of Madera.
Ramirez was transported to San Luis Obispo County Jail, where he was booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm, robbery, and attempted carjacking. His bail was set at $500,000.

Paso Robles police investigate armed robbery on Niblick Road
– Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on May 25 at approximately 1:28 p.m. in the 100 block of Niblick Road.
According to the Paso Robles Police Department, a 19-year-old male from Paso Robles was robbed by an unknown male suspect. During a struggle, a firearm was discharged. The suspect fled the scene, and the victim later sought treatment at a local hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
