With the Mid-State Fair currently underway, Paso Robles Police Department is reminding the community to stay safe. Officers urged attendees to make a plan to avoid driving under the influence, stressing the importance of using rideshare services, taxis, or sober drivers.
“Have fun, but make a plan,” the department stated. “If you drink, don’t drive. DUI enforcement is a priority every day, especially during fair season. Lives depend on it.”
The department also reminded residents that impaired driving will not be tolerated and urged everyone to enjoy the fair responsibly.
“Drive sober or get pulled over,” the department said in its announcement.
