Paso Robles Police recover stolen vehicle, make arrest

–On Saturday afternoon, Paso Robles Police officers recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested a suspect.

At about 4:30 p.m. on 20th Street between Vine and Oak streets in Paso Robles, police located a stolen red Mazda B200 pickup truck.

Officers made contact with a man in the parked vehicle and determined it was stolen. Police arrested local resident Donald Avery, 49. Avery was recently arrested by Atascadero Police for violating penal code 496d, receiving stolen property, on March 8.

Avery was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail at 6 p.m. on Saturday on charges of auto theft. He is described as 6-foot tall, 218 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes. His bond was set at $20,000.
