Paso Robles Police run Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay

Baker to Vegas relay spans 120 miles through desert terrain

    – The Paso Robles Police Department participated in the annual Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay last weekend. The law enforcement relay spans 120 miles and includes agencies from across the United States and other countries.

The department fielded a team of 20 sworn officers, each running one leg of the race. The department was the smallest agency to compete as an individual department in the event.

“We’re honored to have represented Paso Robles on such a big stage, and we’re already looking forward to next year — faster, stronger, and more unified than ever,” the department stated in a release.

The Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay is a long-standing tradition among law enforcement agencies and is known for emphasizing teamwork, endurance, and interagency camaraderie.
