Paso Robles Recreation Services volunteers host root vegetable workshop
Free community event takes place April 25 at Paso Robles garden site
– Paso Robles Recreation Services volunteers will host a free public workshop at the Uptown Family Park Community Garden on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The event will take place at Uptown Family Park, 641 36th Street, Paso Robles, and will focus on root vegetables. It is open to participants of all ages, and no registration is required. Families are welcome at the garden workshops.
The garden includes fruits and vegetables, along with cutting flowers, ornamentals, and common species used in landscaping on the Central Coast.
These recurring workshops are held on the fourth Saturday of each month. While each month has a particular topic, attendees can ask questions about any garden-related topics.
“We are thrilled to bring this hands-on, educational workshop to the community garden and create a welcoming space for learning and connection,” said Wyatt Lund, Program Coordinator. “These workshops are a great opportunity for residents to gather, grow, and appreciate the beauty of gardening together.”
