Paso Robles resident honored by Monmouth College
Junior Becca Dabrowski (McHenry, Ill./West), freshman Miranda Pasky (Paso Robles, Calif./Paso Robles) and senior Natalie Curtis (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) earned CWPA Players of the Week honors after Monmouth posted a 3-0 record in Connecticut last weekend.
Dabrowski earned the Player of the Week award after eclipsing the 100th goal of her career last week. The junior scored 12 goals in the three games, leading the Scots’ scoring in each contest. A psychology major, Dabrowski is the daughter of William and Gretchen Dabroswki.
Pasky was awarded the Rookie of the Week status for her overall play. The freshman netted four goals on the weekend, including the final game-clinching goal in a 9-7 comeback win over host Connecticut College. An art major, Pasky is the daughter of Gary and Angela Pasky.
Curtis earned the honorable mention nod as the Defensive Player of the Week. The senior goalkeeper made over 40 saves, including a 17-save effort in the weekend opener. An art and math double major, Curtis is the daughter of Peter and Annette Curtis.
