Paso Robles Rotary plans inaugural Beer Crawl fundraiser
–Paso Robles Rotary Club announced this week its first-ever Beer Crawl fundraiser. The event will be held on April 24, from 5 pm. – 8 p.m., in downtown Paso Robles and is limited to the first 200 participants.
“We are so excited to bring this new, unique and fun event to Paso Robles,” says club President Nicolette Harley-Barth. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to non-profits through the Rotary Club.
Paso Robles Rotary has 110 members who are all community leaders working together to make this world a better place, Harley-Barth says.
Here’s how it will work: “Pick your starting brewery, each group will start at a different brewery and move to another brewery together as a group,” the club’s announcement says. “We will all end up at The Backyard for the final stop. Wear comfortable shoes, we will be walking almost 2 miles total and bring a jacket. You will park and gather at your starting brewery, where you will get your glass, tasting tickets and raffle ticket. At each brewery you will receive two 5oz tastings and FOOD. We will have a drawing for brewery swag at The Backyard, our final destination, where we will have Firestone beer and more food. There are only 200 tickets available for this event, so gather your friends and join the same group for a fun evening of beer crawling.”
