Paso Robles Senior Center celebrates 20th annual craft fair
Attendees who wear Halloween costumes can also enter a raffle for a prize
– The Paso Robles Senior Center will host its 20th Annual Craft Fair on Oct. 26. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 9 a.m. and feature a variety of handcrafted items available for purchase.
Dianne Bowman, a local crafter known as the “creating is fun lady,” expressed her excitement about the event. “This annual family event brings together the community and local crafters,” Bowman said.
The craft fair has a long history in Paso Robles, with the first one held two years after the completion of the senior center building at 270 Scott Street. The event has provided local senior crafters a space to showcase and sell their creations. To mark the 20th anniversary, the center will offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and snacks. Attendees who wear Halloween costumes can also enter a raffle for a prize.
Visitors to the fair can expect handcrafted jewelry, embroidered tea towels, quilts of various sizes, home goods, baked goods, cards, and other unique items, including holiday-themed creations.
The Paso Robles Senior Center encourages the public to attend and enjoy what it describes as a “spooktacular” good time. For more information, contact the center a (805) 237-3880
