Paso Robles Senior Center hosts annual barbecue and fundraiser
Event raises funds for local center
– The Paso Robles Senior Center hosted its annual Celebrate Seniors BBQ and fundraiser on Oct. 5. Scout Troops 60 and 1602, led by Erin Westmoreland, assisted in serving more than 100 meals. Craig Armstrong and the Sunrise Rotary Club prepared and grilled chicken and bread, while Meals that Connect provided salads. Local firefighters Justin Ludwig, Mike Orr, and Dustin Virgil served root beer floats. Volunteers from the Paso Robles Senior Center helped with ticket-taking, creating gift baskets, and donating art for a raffle.

Central Coast Home Health and Hospice, Kelly Woolworth from Central Coast Medicare Solutions, Central Coast Physicians’ Network, and Peter Lucien from Central Coast Hearing Aids distributed promotional items and answered questions.
The next event sponsored by the senior center is a craft fair, scheduled for Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 270 Scott Street in Paso Robles. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to shop for homemade items. For more information, call (805) 237-3880.
