Three Paso Robles High School juniors recognized for leadership and academics
– Paso Robles High School announced that the Paso Robles Unit 50 American Legion Auxiliary has named its 2026 representatives to the California Girls State program, recognizing three juniors for leadership and academic achievement.
Julia Cox was selected as the official delegate. Lila Colegrove and Mia Angel were named as alternates.
California Girls State is a weeklong leadership and civic engagement program that provides students with hands-on experience in government. Participants take part in simulations of city, county, and state government processes and learn how public institutions function.
Students are selected based on demonstrated leadership, academic achievement, and involvement in their communities.
Cox will attend the session at the University of California, Riverside from June 22 through June 27.
The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District congratulated Cox, Colegrove, and Angel, and recognized the Paso Robles Unit 50 American Legion Auxiliary for its role in supporting student leadership development.
