    – Approximately 1,500 students were named to Biola University’s dean’s list for spring 2024. The list honors students who earned a GPA of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.

Local students named to the dean’s list include:

    • Audrey Warren of Paso Robles, majoring in biological science.
    • Trevor Jaureguy of Paso Robles, majoring in cinema and media arts.

“Inclusion in Biola University’s dean’s list is reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional performance in their academic studies. This honor signifies hard work, engagement, and investment in scholarship,” said Dr. Tamara Anderson, senior associate provost. “These attributes are the building blocks of continued success, not only in the classroom, but in the workplace and in the student’s personal lives. We celebrate these students and their achievement, looking forward to their future accomplishments.”

Biola University was recently recognized as one of America’s best colleges, placing in the higher tier of U.S. News and World Report’s “Best National Universities” category for 2025. The university recently broke ground on a 45,463-square-foot studio facility for students in the Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts, one of the fastest-growing programs at Biola. Additionally, Biola renovated its largest auditorium, dedicating it to its original dedicatee, Ethel Lee.

Founded in 1908, Biola University is dedicated to providing biblically centered education, scholarship, and service. With over 5,000 students on its Southern California campus and globally, Biola offers more than 250 academic programs across eight schools at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
