Paso Robles students returning to in-person classes this month
Secondary students will start hybrid in-person instruction
The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District announced its plan today to bring all grade levels back to in-person instruction. This follows the announcement from the San Luis Obispo County Health Department that the county is moving from the Purple Tier to the Red Tier of state guidelines as cases of COVID-19 continue to decline.
“We are thrilled today to share that all secondary students in grades 7-12 who opted for in-person instruction will be returning to our campuses in the weeks to come,” said Deputy Superintendent Jen Gaviola. “This is due to our metrics under the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy having moved in the right direction for the second week in a row,” she said.
6th grade: All 6th-grade students who are returning to in-person instruction will have orientation on March 4th (AM cohort) or March 5th (PM cohort) 1:30-3:05 pm.
Hybrid In-Person School begins on March 9, 2021.
7th grade: All 7th-grade students who are new to campus will be provided small group orientation as scheduled by the school site on March 8, 2021, 1:30-3:05 pm.

8th grade: All 8th-grade students who are new to campus will be provided small group orientation as scheduled by the school site on March 8, 2021, 1:30-3:05 pm.

9th Grade: All 9th-grade students who are returning to in-person instruction will have orientation on March 9th (AM cohort) or March 10th (PM cohort) 1:30-3:05 pm.

10th Grade: All 10th-grade students who are returning to in-person instruction will have orientation on March 11th (AM cohort) or March 12th (PM cohort) 1:30-3:05 pm.

11th Grade: All 11th-grade students who are new to campus will be provided small group orientation as scheduled by the school site on March 11th, 2021, at 1:30 pm-3:05 pm.
