Paso Robles Youth Wrestling Club hosting ‘Turkeymania’ fun run
– The Paso Robles Youth Wrestling Club will host its 20th annual Turkey Trot event, Turkeymania, on Nov. 27. The community run will take place in Paso Robles and will include several race divisions and activities for participants of all ages.
The event will feature a 10K race, 5K race, and a family fun run. Registration will open at 7 a.m., and all races and walks will begin at 8 a.m. The first 100 participants will receive a limited-edition Turkeymania T-shirt.
First-place medals will be awarded in each 10K division, including men’s, women’s, high school, middle school, elementary, and master’s categories. A costume contest will also be held for those who dress as professional wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Entry fees are $40 for individual 10K or 5K participants and $50 for the family fun run.
All proceeds will benefit the Paso Robles Youth Wrestling Club, a nonprofit that directly funds Paso Robles High School Wrestling.
