Pedestrian struck and killed by train in Paso Robles 

–An unidentified man was struck and killed by a train Tuesday night around 5:20 p.m. in Paso Robles, according to reports.

It happened about a half mile from Niblick Bridge south of Spring Street while an Amtrak train was traveling northbound. The conductor of the Amtrak Coastal Starlight Train said he saw the unidentified man walking on the train tracks and blew his horn. The man did not move from the tracks when the conductor did this.

Police have yet to release the identity of the man. They are currently investigating why he did not move off the tracks, reports say.
