Person rescued after 20-foot fall in Pismo Beach
– Cal Fire San Luis Obispo responded to a cliff rescue on Saturday near the 200 block of Sea Cliff Drive in Pismo Beach. A person was reported to be 20 feet down the cliff.
The incident involved Cal Fire’s Urban Search and Rescue team. According to Cal Fire, members of the team made contact with the person and accessed the location via a low-angle rescue. The rescue operation was expected to take 30 to 45 minutes.
Following the rescue, the person was transported to a hospital for further care.
