Pickleball Club hosts St. Patrick’s Day tournament

–The Paso Robles Pickleball Club hosted their first “St. Paddy’s Day Wee O’ the Green Fun Tournament” at Centennial Park’s five permanent pickleball courts on Thursday, March 17.
Forty intermediate skilled participants joined in a random draw, round-robin competition. “This tournament is a great way for players from San Luis Obispo and neighboring counties to meet, have some fun and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day,” said USA Pickleball Association District Ambassador Steve Sidwell. “The beautiful courts in Paso Robles are the perfect meeting place for this tournament that we hope will become an annual tradition.”

• Gold: Terri Wardell and Denis Snow
• Silver: Gigi Fuerra and Jarred Partridge
• Green: Sylvie Beauregard and Chris Sickleton
The club will be hosting a Wine Country Spring Tournament, May 14 through 15, at the Centennial Park pickleball courts with over 150 players from California and Arizona expected to participate. Unique to this tournament will be a Saturday night tasting room dinner at Calcareous Vineyard.
The Paso Robles Pickleball Club hosts organized play Monday through Saturday at Centennial Park from 8:30 to 11 a.m. New player training is available every Thursday at 10 a.m. and skill development drills are scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Special purpose clinics are hosted throughout the season.
