Pinot and Paella Festival donates over 30k to Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation

–The Paso Pinot Producers recently awarded $32,000, the proceeds from the 14th Annual Paso Pinot & Paella Festival, to the Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation (PRYAF) in support of free visual and performing arts classes for local youth. Classes include drama, art, dance, and music at all levels, for students 5-18 years old. Students do not need to be residents of Paso Robles to enroll.

This charitable event has been bringing ever-increasing awareness to Pinot Noir grown and produced in Paso Robles. Paso Pinot has a rich history, originally being planted in the mid- ‘60’s by the late Dr. Stan Hoffman at the old Hoffman Mountain Ranch in the Paso Robles Appellation. Today there are over 21 producers and growers of Pinot Noir, mainly on the westside of the AVA. Joining the many Paso Pinot Producers at the event, were some of the Central Coast’s top chefs.

Since the first Paso Pinot & Paella event 14 years ago at Windward Vineyard more than $367,000 has been donated to PRYAF and other local charities.
