Pioneer Museum searching for docent trainees

Pioneer_Museum-pioneer-park 2The Paso Robles Pioneer Museum is offering to teach and provide hands-on association with local history through their docent training program.

The Pioneer Museum has thousands of artifacts, as well as a connection with the community and generations that explored and homesteaded the area.

Training is free and led by experienced docents as well as the locals whose ancestors settled the north county a century or more ago. Once trained, new docents are paired with an experienced partner and typically serve in the museum for three hours one day a month.
