    Police arrest juvenile after Snapchat threat made to Paso Robles school 

    – On Tuesday at approximately 9:37 p.m., Paso Robles Police officers received information regarding a potential threat of violence directed at Lewis Flamson Junior High through the social media platform Snapchat. Police officers immediately began an investigation into the source of the alleged threat.

    On Thursday, officers identified a 12-year-old student from Lewis Flamson Junior High as the individual who posted the threat on their Snapchat account. The student was interviewed and later arrested for making criminal threats.

    Authorities determined there was no credible threat to the Lewis Flamson Junior High campus following the investigation.

    The Paso Robles Police Department is encouraging parents to use this incident as an opportunity to talk to their children about responsible social media use, emphasizing the severity of their words and the consequences of their posts.
