Police ask public to be on the lookout for stolen Atascadero School District vehicles

–On Friday morning at 5:35 a.m., the Atascadero Police Department responded to a commercial burglary at the Atascadero Unified School District’s Transportation Center, located at 5355 Portrero Rd. School district staff members arrived in the morning to find someone had forced entry into one of the buildings. They also found that two of the district’s vehicles had been stolen.

There are several vehicles that match the description of those stolen, so the police department is asking the public to be aware of any district vehicles that appear to be involved in suspicious activity.

The vehicles are described as:

A 2015 Ford F550 Box Van: The vehicle is white and there are Atascadero Unified School District decals on the driver and passenger doors.

A 2003 Ford E350 Passenger Van: This vehicle is also white and there are Atascadero Unified School District decals on the driver and passenger doors.

The Atascadero Police Department is actively working in conjunction with the Atascadero Unified School District on this investigation.
