Police department begins testing body-worn cameras

–The Paso Robles Police Department has begun testing Body Worn Cameras (BWC) for patrol officers. The cameras will compliment the PRPD’s existing mobile audio video system installed in each patrol car.

The cameras will be tested in a variety of common patrol conditions to evaluate durability, ease of use, and video clarity, according to the city.
