Police investigate multiple reports of possible prowler 

In a few instances, the suspect reportedly reached in a window and touched the victims while sleeping

–During the past two weeks, the San Luis Obispo Police Department has received several calls for service regarding possible prowler activity at various locations throughout the city. This is an ongoing investigation and San Luis Obispo Police Department is actively trying to identify the suspect or suspects involved in these crimes.

The suspect(s) have been vaguely identified as either a male White and/or male Hispanic adult. The time range in these incidents have also varied and usually occur during the late night to early morning hours. In a few instances, the suspect has been reported to have reached in a window and touched the victims while sleeping.

The police department is asking the publics assistance in trying to identify the person(s) responsible for these prowling incidents. If you have been the victim, or a witness, in any of these incidents we ask that you to please contact the police department to report the crime. During nighttime hours, leaving curtains and blinds open can increase the visibility into your home. The police department is encouraging its citizens to be aware of their environment and surroundings, as well as reporting all suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
