    Police seek help identifying suspected counterfeiters 


    –The Paso Robles Police Department is requesting public assistance with locating Janet Marie Deras (04-27-1996) and Ines Marie Jimenez (09-15-1987). Investigators suspect the two women are passing fraudulent $100 bills at businesses throughout the central coast.

    The women attempted to pass 2 fraudulent $100 bills at the J.C. Penny department store in Paso Robles on January 31, 2018. The women were possibly accompanied by Joshua Lee Maddox (02-15-1980, no picture available), another person of interest. Maddox is possibly associated with a yellow 2018 Chevrolet Camaro.

    Anyone with information about Deras’ or Jimenez’s whereabouts should contact PRPD Officer Joseph Leonard at 805-237-6464; persons wishing to remain anonymous are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers’ 24-hour hotline at 549- STOP or by texting “SLOTIPS” plus your message” to CRIMES (274637).
