Police seek help in locating missing man
–The Atascadero Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult. John Michael Stevens, a 61-year-old resident of Atascadero was last seen on Thursday, April 5, at about 11 a.m.
Stevens was last seen walking eastbound through his apartment complex located at 7775 Morro Rd. Atascadero. He left his residence on foot without his cell phone or insulin, which is concerning because he is an insulin dependent diabetic.
Stevens was last seen wearing his glasses, a blue shirt, light blue jeans and white shoes. Stevens is further described as a White Male Adult, 5’10” tall, weighing 165 pounds, with Hazel Eyes and Grey hair. Stevens does not have a vehicle and usually travels on foot to nearby business, which he frequents regularly. If located, please contact the Atascadero Police Department at (805) 461-5051.
