Pop-up hay bale bike lane tested on Creston Road 


–Yesterday, the discussions continued over proposed improvements to Creston Road. They included a pop-up hay bale design on Creston Road between Nickerson Drive and Lewis Middle School. The display Wednesday morning showed how a bike lane could be expanded and made more safe on Creston Road.

Wednesday evening, Public Works Director Dick McKinley and W-Trans consultants explained ideas developed during the previous workshop at Lewis Middle School. A large map on a wall at the Police Station illustrated some of the options proposed by residents.

A final Presentation of Preliminary Designs will be conducted from 6:00-8:00 tonight at Lewis Middle School. Food and refreshments will be provided. Children are welcome.
