Popular table-top game day continues at the Paso Robles Library
–As part of the Paso Robles City Library’s Summer Reading Program, Reading Takes You Everywhere, the library kicked off a new monthly event in July – Table Top Game Day.
This ongoing event allows you to try out trending board games or enjoy a beloved classic while meeting new friends. There are monthly featured games, but you are welcome to bring your own games as well.
On Saturday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 pm., thanks to a generous donation from Target, featured games include Pandemic and Parcheesi. In Pandemic, the players are disease-fighting specialists whose mission is to treat disease hotspots while researching cures for four plagues before they get out of hand. Players must plan their strategy to mesh with their specialists’ strengths in order to conquer the diseases. Working together, players can find a cure; if they cure the four diseases, they all win!
Not in the mood to rid the world of disease? Enjoy the classic game of Parcheesi – will you get all your “men” home before the rest?
