Pre-Pioneer Day Dinner Dance is this Saturday
Time-honored tradition includes steak dinner, auction, live music
–This Saturday night, the Paso Robles Event Center will be the locale of a time honored Paso Robles tradition: the annual Pre-Pioneer Day Dinner and Auction. An evening of rowdy merriment and honorary celebration of Paso Robles Pioneer Day royalty will take place as locals and friends gather for a modern day “barn dance” to celebrate “the spirit of the harvest” just as they have done since 1931.
A legendary top block steak dinner, live music from singer/songwriter Chris Bigford from San Jose, live/silent auction “shopping” casino “gambling” and full bar with draft beer, are on schedule. “Newcomers” are encouraged to attend and partake in the Pioneer Day celebrations. Tickets are $50 at the door, and in Paso Robles at the Chamber of Commerce and Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association offices, Farm Supply & i-Candi.
The Pioneer Day Parade will take place Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. down Spring Street.
