Preschool archeology activity offered at the library

library paso robles–On Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 10:30 a.m., children ages 3-6 years are invited to come dig through the sand for dinosaur bones and perhaps discover what creatures may have lived beneath the Paso Robles Library.

“This is the age of curiosity and questions, and what better way to encourage that natural curiosity than by creating an archaeological dig for our little scientists!” said Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey, “Last year, we let our little scientists explore with water, this year they’ll be digging in the dirt. So be prepared to get dirty and come have fun with junior paleontology!”

Space is limited. Signups for this event are required. Register online using the library event calendar: http://www.prcity.com/246/Classes-Events. For more information, contact Melissa Bailey, (805) 237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10- 8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237- 3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
