PRYAF presents Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs
–Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation (PRYAF’s) Drama Department and the Avalon Foundation will present the classic fairy tale and children’s comedy, Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. Written for children by Michelle L. Vacca, based on the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tale, and directed by Claire Fundaro, Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs will bring the delightful characters to life with a comedy twist.
Jealous of Snow White’s beauty, the wicked queen orders the murder of her innocent stepdaughter, but later discovers that Snow White is still alive and hiding in a rustic cottage with seven lovable little miners. Disguising herself as a hag, the queen brings a poisoned apple to Snow White, who falls into a death-like sleep that can only be broken by a kiss from her knight in shining armor.
Nearly 20 young performers, from 7-18 years old, auditioned and committed to hours of rehearsals, coming from far and wide to bring Snow White to life. Some with years of community theater and PRYAF Drama Department experience, and for some, Snow White will be their very first performance. Don’t miss the fun. This show is appropriate for the whole family.
