Public workshop to develop outdoor dining options
Residents encouraged to give input on parklets, sidewalk cafes
– The City of Paso Robles is holding a public workshop on Tuesday, March 22, from 3-5 p.m. at Paso Robles City Hall to discuss ideas for permanent outdoor dining options in Paso Robles. which may include parklets.
The workshop is being hosted by the Outdoor Dining Ad Hoc committee which was created in response to requests from residents and business owners to develop guidelines for permanent parklets, sidewalk cafes, and patios.
Seventeen temporary parklets were installed during the pandemic to allow for safer dining and compliance with state and county distancing guidelines. Prior to the parklets coming down on Feb. 1, 2022, the Paso Robles City Council created an ad hoc committee to discuss options and guidelines for permanent outdoor dining.
The community is encouraged to attend the meeting in person or follow the meeting virtually at www.prcity.com/youtube and call (805) 865-7276 to provide public comment during the meeting.
The city invites the public to attend this meeting to share ideas and concerns. No formal action is being taken at this time. Input gathered at this session will contribute to a report to the Paso Robles Planning Commission and city council.
