Pyjama drama interactive theater for children happening Aug. 8

Paso Robles City Council Chambers/Library.

– Children, ages 1-7, and their families are invited to participate in the Pyjama Drama Interactive Theater on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at either 10:30 a.m. at the Library or 1:30 p.m. at the Georgia Brown Elementary School.

According to Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey, “Studies show that dramatic play helps develop language and communication skills, teaches cooperation and patience, and supports emotional intelligence and physical development. It may look like silly fun, but participants will be growing and learning while playing pretend.”

Free tickets are required for the 10:30 a.m. program in the Library and will be available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the program at the Library. They are not required for the Georgia Brown program. For more information about children’s programming, visit prcity.com/library.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit prcity.com/library.
