Tickets for the October concert go on sale May 29– Killer Queen, a tribute band performing the music of Queen, will perform at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles on Oct. 4.
Tickets for the concert will go on sale May 29 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
Lead singer Patrick Myers said the group began performing at London University, where Queen had played decades earlier.
“It’s been an amazing journey. That first show changed my life,” Myers said. “We thought our band would last maybe a summer at the most but it’s a very addictive thing performing these songs. The concerts grew and grew and we’ve ended up playing and selling out the same arenas that Queen played at their peak. It’s been quite a surreal ride.”
According to the band, Killer Queen later secured a residency at London’s Strand Theatre and became the first tribute act to stage a show in London’s West End.
The group also received the “Worldwide Best Tribute Band” award during a ceremony in Leicester Square hosted by Suggs of Madness. The band recreated Queen harmonies for Fatboy Slim’s “The Real Life,” which reached No. 1, according to the announcement.
The tribute band has performed at venues including Ahoy Arena, Forest National Arena, Waverley Stadium in Edinburgh, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
Myers said performing at Red Rocks became a milestone for the group.
“Becoming regular performers Red Rocks Arena in America is another highlight,” Myers said. “The Beatles, U2, Springsteen, Dylan all played on that stage. It’s really got its own kind of magic going on there.”
According to the announcement, the band performed arena shows throughout Europe in 2025, including concerts in Norway and several cities in the United Kingdom. The group’s 2026 schedule includes a North American tour and a return performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
