Rainfall season total surpasses 13 inches, more rain on the way
– Seasonal rainfall totals in Paso Robles exceeded 13 inches after recent storms brought additional precipitation to the area.
Paso Robles received 0.90 inches of rain on Feb. 16 and 1.14 inches on Feb. 17, bringing the season total to 13.19 inches.
A wind advisory remains in effect from 3 p.m. Tuesday to 3 a.m. Wednesday for San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County, excluding the city of Santa Barbara and the mountains of Santa Barbara County. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, knock down tree limbs, and cause isolated power outages. Officials said winds of this strength can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles, and urged motorists to use extra caution.
The forecast for Paso Robles shows continued chances of precipitation through the next week. Rain and wind are expected on Tuesday with a high near 52 degrees and a low around 35 degrees, along with about 1.17 inches of precipitation. Wednesday is forecast to be partly cloudy with a high near 52 degrees and a low around 38 degrees, with about 0.36 inches of precipitation possible. Thursday is expected to bring morning showers with a high near 51 degrees and a low around 29 degrees, with about 0.13 inches of precipitation.
Partly cloudy conditions are forecast Friday with a high near 55 degrees and a low around 30 degrees, followed by partly cloudy skies Saturday with a high near 59 degrees and a low around 41 degrees. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected Sunday with a high near 62 degrees and a low around 45 degrees, with about 0.09 inches of precipitation.
Showers are forecast Monday with a high near 61 degrees and a low around 48 degrees, with about 0.32 inches of precipitation. Additional showers are expected Tuesday with a high near 58 degrees and a low around 42 degrees, with about 0.39 inches of precipitation.
