REC Foundation establishes endowment for city park playground maintenance 

Funds raised come from donations and proceeds from Concerts in the Park

-At the most recent Paso Robles City Council meeting, the council accepted an offer from the REC Foundation to establish a $100,000 endowment fund to be used for Downtown City Park playground maintenance.

The non-profit REC Foundation has been fundraising to generate this endowment through private donations and proceeds from the summer Concerts in the Park series.

The city council lauded their efforts and accepted the endowment with gratitude, according to Paso Robles Assistant City Manager Meg Williamson.
