Recreation department to host holiday open house
–Cookie decorating, holiday games and crafts led by recreation class instructors, and photos with Santa will all be part of the Paso Robles Recreation Department’s Holiday Open House at Centennial Park on Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 2-5 p.m.
Children and their parents are this free event. Recreation instructors from Kidz Love Soccer, KinderMusik and the Baby Seals Swim programs will offer holiday games, a craft, and music and movement activities. There will be props and a photo booth for families to snap pictures as well.
“We are excited to celebrate the holidays with the community by offering this free event for families,” said Heather Stephenson, recreation coordinator for the City of Paso Robles. “Not only is this a great way for children to sample some of our recreation offerings but it’s also an opportunity for parents to meet the instructors and ask questions about our classes. In addition to the instructor-led activities, we have an Olaf corn hole game, a Santa hat ring toss, and plenty of icing and sprinkles for the children to use to decorate their sugar cookies.”
The Paso Robles Recreation Services is located at 600 Nickerson Drive in Paso Robles. For more information about this event or to find out more about registering for a class call (805) 237-3988 or visit www.prcity.com/recreation.
